Dax Harwood vs CM Punk

Punk hits some armdrags early and slammed him. Dax then gets a knee to the gut in and a suplex. He then backdrops him. The Gunn Club appear in the front row and Fax is distracted by them for some reason. Dax misses a top rope headbutt theny trade shots before Punk hits a leg lariat.

Punk goes up top and gets crotched, then Dax superplexes him. Dax then hit a diving headbutt for 2. Punk goes for a suplex and Dax holds on then both go over the top to the floor. They get back in and Punk crossbodies him off the top for 2. Punk takes a slingshot ligerbomb for 2. Punk's go to sleep attempt gets blocked and Punk is put in a sharpshooter. Punk then gets out and wins with the anaconda vice.

Not the best finish but it was an alright 15 minute match with Dax getting a lot in.

The Jericho Appreciation Society does a promo. We saw a photo beforehand of Jericho and John Silver when Silver was a kid. Jericho said he's taking him to school and Silver isn't on his level. Jericho said he would future endeavor him and Daniel Garcia said he is a sports entertainer. They open the curtains and say they don't see Eddie and Friends as they aren't coming back after they beat them up.

Tornado Tag Team Match - Private Party, The Butcher and The Blade vs. The Hardys, Sting and Darby Allin

The Hardy's got a big pop. Darby topes Butcher before he even gets in then Sting dives on everyone and almost falls over from the top. Everyone brawls outside and Blade goes over the railing with Jeff. Sting then splashes a PP member of the rails as the wrestlers head into the stands. Andrade whips Darby with a belt and Butcher swings Darby down the steps.

Everyone fought near the snack area during PiP break, which is a shame since it's a cool spot and we can't see it. Darby got dragged and someone was hit with a trashcan. Matt took a double side effect off the stage through a table. Butcher was laid out on a table and Jeff set up a ladder. Blade got put on the table next to it. Jeff climbed a very high balcony then swanton'd his opponents.

Kassidy got crotched by Sting on the middle rope then hit Sting in the back with a chair. Sting fired up then beat up PP. Sting kind of blew a gin and juice spot then him and Hardy hit a twist of fate/scorpion death drop to it.

Aside from the messed up finish, this was a wild brawl with some big spots. It's a shame they had to go break during this as it was good.

FTR did a promo after. They said they did some bad things but aren't spoiled but said the Gunn Club are. They said they would see them in a match soon.

Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley vs. The Varsity Blondes

Mox and Bryan go at them at the bell and Griff is sent into the rails. Julia Hart is wearing an eyepatch and pouting on the steps. Pillman hit a dropkick on Mox then Griff splashed him but was german suplexed after. We went to PiP break and returned. pillman took a release german and a lariat combo. Bryan was back body dropped over the top the Mox dropped Griff with a forearm. Griff then held up Mox for a Pillman dropkick.

Pillman got a paradigm shift ddt then Mox and Bryan pounded on their opponents and Mox tapped out Griff with a submission.

This was short with the break eating up a lot of this.

 

William Regal came down after and Mox did a promo. He put over Bryan and announced they would be called the Blackpool Combat Club. He challenged anyone to step up.

MJF came out to talk. He insulted the crowd and said there will be another match between him and Punk someday. He said it won't be over until he attends his funeral and pees on his grave. MJF called Wardlow a greedy little pig and said nobody would know him without MJF. MJF said Wardlow signed a deal with the devil and said he would make his life a living hell. He made a religious comment then Wardlow came down and beat up security, but they eventually outnumbered him. MJF called the fans marks and said he would pay him to stay home. MJF went too far here. 

You just don't insult people's religions especially when you aren't of that religion.

I am cutting out the review here and I expect MJF, AEW and Tony Khan to issue apologies along with an MJF suspension and fine.
